Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll review availability and determine which collection or experience best fits your celebration.
We’ll guide you toward the collection that best matches your guest count, style, and event needs.
Our setups are curated as complete experiences rather than individual rental pieces. This allows us to create a cohesive look where every detail feels intentional.
Custom requests and additional elements can be discussed during the planning process and may require an additional fee.
Your date is officially reserved once the signed service agreement and required retainer or deposit have been received.
For applicable collections, a 30% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. Until payment is received, your date remains available for other inquiries.
Once booked, we begin bringing your celebration together. We’ll confirm your aesthetic direction, colors, important details, and any approved customizations.
Florals, textiles, décor, and other styling elements may vary slightly depending on availability, but we will always stay within the overall aesthetic and direction created for your event.
Your final guest count and remaining balance are due two weeks before your event. Your confirmed guest count at that time determines the final preparation for your celebration.
If attendance decreases afterward, the total will not be reduced or refunded. Additional guests may be added only when availability and the selected collection allow and may require an additional fee.
Once the final payment has been received, all payments are non-refundable, as inventory, materials, custom elements, and event preparation have already been secured.
Our team arrives before your event to set up and style everything included in your selected experience. Setup timing varies depending on the size, location, and complexity of your celebration and will be coordinated with you beforehand.
The event area must be clean, accessible, and ready for setup when we arrive. House of Serendipity is not responsible for moving furniture, clearing spaces, or rearranging venue items unless this has been arranged in advance.
Then comes the best part: you get to enjoy your celebration.
When your experience includes rental inventory, our team will return at the agreed time to break down the setup and collect our pieces. Breakdown timing depends on the type of event and will be confirmed prior to your celebration.
All rental pieces must remain at the event location and be handled with reasonable care throughout the rental period.
Clients are responsible for lost, missing, damaged, or excessively stained items. A refundable damage deposit may apply to certain experiences.
Before your celebration
We understand that plans can change. However, every booking requires advance preparation, reserved inventory, and a date held exclusively for your celebration.
All retainers are non-refundable, as they cover initial planning, preparation, and reservation of your event date. If you cancel before final payment, your retainer will not be refunded. Any additional payments may be eligible for a partial refund depending on the preparation and purchases already completed for your event.
Once final payment has been received, all payments are non-refundable. When possible, we may offer the option to reschedule based on availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and additional fees may apply depending on the timing or changes requested.
For outdoor events, clients are responsible for confirming that the location allows the planned setup and for obtaining any necessary reservations or permits.
Weather, wind, terrain, venue restrictions, and safety considerations may require us to adjust the placement or use of certain styling elements.
While we will always preserve the overall look and feel of your celebration, specific décor cannot be guaranteed when conditions make its use unsafe or impractical.
